Some Rough Solar Shots

5 posts in this topic

We actually had no cloud here in Western Australia today, so for the first time in week I opened up the observatory and shot the sun. Very rusty and I need to absorb some solar processing tutorials, not to mention get some type of electric focuser on my SolarMax 90. I did a close up shot through a barlow but Registax refused to stack it, maybe I had too many frames (3500). I'll try again tonight.

Regards

Ray

Funny you mention that because I'm watching some solar tutorials at the moment and it is just as finicky as planetary processing IMO. I'll report shortly.
