  1. Thanks Ken, for your very helpful advice as it was much appreciated. I'm still shopping around for EP's and will definately take what you've said into consideration. Do you know of any good online astronomy websites (even over seas ones) with a great product range?
  2. Yeah i researched Televue Ethos eyepieces last night and it would seem they are well worth the money. I will get one eventually but there just a little out of my price range at the moment. Thanks for your help guys.
  3. Yes i do plan on spending a fair bit of time behind the eye piece so is there a minimum eye relief that i should stick to? I do plan on getting a low, medium and high power set in time but i'm not sure on how low or how high to go. Is there a rough guideline on what focal lenghts to go for in deep space observation?
  4. Hey guys and gals, I've just started getting into astronomy and would just like to know what type of 2" eyepiece and focal length i should go for and what eye pieces have a good reputation. I'm intersted in deep space observation and don't want to get caught out buying something that won't cut it. I'm thinking about a MAS-428 which is the 32mm super wide 70degree FOV, is this what you guys would recommend or should i go for something else? Also do you find that the eye relief is pretty important when buying new eye pieces? Cheers Bennett
