Isnt technology great!!

Im sitting in the observatory, chatting on the net, while the same laptop is doing a drift alignment through my dsi imager with the star image on screen and startarg for the cross hairs and its timer running down from 10min.
....
And this is all without wires.:pipethinker:

I often think how great technology is when a shuttle is docked with the space station and I'm watching the space walk live on my home computer from a camera attached to the space station, all this whilst watching orbitron and waiting for the whole shaboodle to pass over my house. The view of the space walk also shows Earth beneath the astronaut's feet, as the view of Earth hits the West Australian coastline I walk outside only to see this big bright star streaming through the sky. Technology is awesome.

So true, they'll be cracking jokes like this about us in a few hundred years I'm sure.
