Well guys finally go my Hutech modified 400d:eartoear: :eartoear:

Now ..if only it would stop raining, thundering and generally being bad weather gods.

Why is it when u get a new toy , you cant use it.:ahh!:

Thanks to Bitsylon for his help and advice. Cheers Lon.

Mabye on the weekend i will get to polar mount the scope finally (neally got all the adapter plate stuff for the wedge)and give the new camera a go.
Will still need to get a long exposure cable from Hutech or Hap Griffin yet to do more than 30sec (limited by camera)control from laptop.

:welldone: Congrats Pat, I will be keen to see your first light results...which way did you go with the setup, filterwise etc ? If you have light pollution around your area the IDAS filter from hutech is worth getting too.

Hi Pat,

Just curious as to what all that means?

hey there Boss,(Ray)

Its a "spectrum enhanced" means the standard IR blocking filters are removed and replaced with astronomical IR blocking filters. They let all HA light through, standard filters block most of it.
1A is the filter type.

heres a link to the Hutech site that will explain it all.(has pictures too).

They are great to deal with and i recomend them if you are getting one in the future.
