Praktica MTL3

I am looking for a Shutter Release for a Praktica MTL3 camera. Can anyone help? Also looking for lenses for the camera

Adrian, from experience with these (not that brand though) types of camera, the cable release fits all makes and models from that era. Most camera stores sell cable release cables, so if I were you, I'd take the Praktica to a camera store and see if they can find one for you. That's probably what I'd do.

Been there done that. The only camera store in town says they cannot get one as they are no longer available new. The only way I can get one, according to the camera shop, is to buy a second hand one. Hence the request.

Found one on the UK eBay site. About $7 so far

g'day Adrian,
I have one hanging on my obs wall. I used it for my Minolta SRT101 waaaaayyyyyyyy back when I did film work. It's the lockable type and I don't use it now so it's yours if you want it. It's 600mm so you can sit back and relax, have beer while you take piccies.... :thumbsupmate:
