John,
Where are you from, Australia? If so I would be looking for an Australian supplier and getting some real specs on the mount. The info on that site you could drive trucks through.
What sort of mount is your scope on now? How is it attached? What is the length and weight of your scope? I could not find any worthwhile info on the net about it.
Have you thought of a GEM from a local supplier?
Just some thoughts.................

John,
I would be looking at the specs of the mount carefully and make sure your scope is no more than 2/3 the maximum load for the mount.
As you are in the States that dealer would be OK, my question there was if you were in Australia why would you get a mount from a US dealer, but its sensible for you.
GEM stands for German Equatorial Mount. The mount you are looking at is an Alt/Az in that it just moves up and down/ left and right to locate the object. A GEM counteracts the rotation of the earth so the image will not rotate int he eyepiece. This is much more important in astrophotography than in visual use.
My points would be to get more info regarding the load and attachment requirements for your scope then make your descision.
Cheers and good luck.

G'day John,
Welcome to the site.
I have seen mounts like this (maybe not the exact model though) in action. Their pointing accuracy is fine for visual. Obviously this mount is not suited to Astrophotography though, but that's fine because you've indicated visual only.
As Rob says, weight can be an issue. Try not to load the mount to it's fullest capacity. Again Rob was right in saying 2/3's of it's specififed load limit is probably the heighest you'd want to do.
Meade have goto technology down well, so you should be fine. Weight will be your only issue. Do they sell similar mounts that are slightly larger? I havne't had a chance to look.
Regards
Ray

hey, im been looking at this Meade Dual-Axis Goto Telescope Mount[/URL]
I don't think this is a Meade mount John. It's described as a Milapse.
I've googled this mount and can only find it on that website.
That website also talks about it being a good time lapse mount and they don't really make mention of it being used in an astronomical environment.
Either way though, for $90 it's quite cheap and you really can't go wrong. I googled some other alt az goto mounts and they were much more expensive.
This will hopefully do what you need.

I think I would be looking at some other options before laying out my hard earned on this mount. Just make sure you are getting the best bang for your buck, you may have to save for a while longer for another mount but it may be worth it.
