Hi All,
I sent off my Canon 350D to Centralds, early in the year for the full monty, Filter removal & replacement with high pass H-alpha filter plus the Peltier Cooler Mod.
Until I finish the new observatory (OctaDome) for the system that I will use this camera on, I have not taken any images yet.
However, for those who may be contemplating this path, here is a link to the site and some great images (Australia) taken with the moddified camera. http://www.centralds.net/en/index.htm
Enjoy

Hey Shev, not sure how this post slipped past me, but that link you provided shows a really good image of M16. M16 is an awkward object to photo, in that too long and you over expose the pillars, not long enough and things don't appear.
I still need a good shot of the Eagle, hopefully soon.

Ho Guys,
I got my camera back ages ago, but have not used it yet on a scope.

I have been busy with other projects as well, public astronomy displays, Pluto Occultation, preparing to broadcast live to Discovery Channel, the Lunar Eclipse 28 this month, plus stuff around the property etc.
I have been working on the telescopes that I will be using it on, building another observatory to house the Alhena mount with its 3 telescopes, Tak 180ED f/2.8 Astrograph, Meade SN-10, Tak Mewlon 210.
Just recently completed the new homebuilt mounting plate combination, fitted the Tak 180ED & SN-10 with Antares Rotator Rings, and waiting for the new electronis focuser for the Tak 180ED from DSLRStar to go with the DSLRStar camera control unit. Done some improvements too on the SN-10.

I will post some images of the various upgrades soon.
