l am going to build an all aluminium 12" f/4.5 Newtonian specifically to come to focus with a 400D DSLR. Will the Lumicon CC ( l have chosen this one because it will not change the f/l of the scope like some others ) change how much focuser travel is needed to reach focus either in/out. thanks guys.

Hi Astrolounge,
With this corrector, if the focal length is unchanged from installing it, then the diffference in focus will be tiny. You should easily have enough movement to find focus again. Only correctors that change the focal length significantly require major focusing changes.
Have you got any pics of this project yet? The tube? Design? Would love to oogle at your work mate.

thanks Ray, l will start on the tube next week and post when finished, it will have an Event Horizon Focuser with digital readout and custom made Aluminiun tube rings which will be able to carry multiple mounting plates for various scopes and cameras.
