I'm still working on processing this image. Probably be finished tomorrow.
I shot this with a Pentax SP2, using Kodak Elite Chrome 200. Exposure is 60 minutes.
The colours you see in this photo are easily visible on the negative. I have found the colours in this object can be elusive, so finally getting them so vividly is a buzz.
I have more which I'll be posting soon.
Thanks for looking

The Rho Ophiuchus Complex doesn't give her secrets up easily. I'm getting close to it though. Those colours are hard to get, this was the first time I could see them on my negative which was a buzz. I have done more processing and have another image which I'll post soon.
Cheers

Hmmm, yes I remember trying this guy with film and didn't get much colour at all, so I can see how well you've done to get that Ray. Much easier to get those colours with digital (5min shot easy) but overall your image has lots of other detail also.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
Rog, glad you know my pain with this object, hoping to go digital sometime this year.
Yes Phil, they are still selling film,,,,at the antique store.
Mick I used a 49mm Nikkor lens for this.
I want to get the camera adapter that goes on the counter weight bar so that I can do more widefield at the same time.
