That's a really good image Phil. Lots of interesting objects to look at and very fine detail.
Did you do much post-capture 'massaging' of the images? If so, what exactly?
Great work mate.

Nice work Phil. It's hard to make dark nebula look fluffy (fluffy being the scientific term) but you've managed to capture it well. It's has a 3D feel. The colours in that part of the sky are not all that easy to get either.
Post capture massage is a non-nerdy way of saying processing (I think). :hmm:
What is your overall opinion of the STL-11000?
Cheers

Processing was done with darks, flats and flat darks for all frames in MaxlmDl. All frame alined RGB combine in MaxlmDL then taken to photoshop where levels and curves done. Then mixed in the clear and Ha frame and more curves and colour mixing. Thats about it

Gidday again Phil. Radar got it right! Sorry for the 'non-nerdy way of saying processing' - I new a fella who used to use terms like 'massage' and 'tweak' for post-editing of video and film and it has stuck with me. I'll try and behave next time!
The answer above is just what I was looking for. Thanks mate.
