Santa arrived a couple of days before Xmas, weighed down with a large box, on which there was a Red Swan logo, getting a hint? What was inside you ask?
OK, to put you out of your misery, a large aluminium case containing one of the new Megrez 90mm f/6.9 APO scopes, complete with the new 2" Dielectric diagonals with carbon fibre side plates, a 10:1 fine focuser as standard, also a photo adaptor tubeall ready to attach one of my DSLR's.
The BEST gift is the heavy rain and snow which has dampened down the bush fires, just in time for the fire fighters to have Xmas at home. It must be the new scope that brought the change in weather.
So, any nice astro goodies for Xmas?

Love the sound of that new scope mate. What is the largest aperture scope you have there?

Last year, santa sent us a 19 1/2 pound (8.8 kg) Campo del Cielo meteorite, the centrepiece of the collection. It looks great at work, get much more enjoyment from my "not of this world" "rock" as the wife calls it than any booze, tobacco etc.Hope santa sent everyone else good stuff.
