What an amazing imager. Some of those planetary shots are extremely good. The called Mars Grows Nearer, was taken through a 14inch SCT at F39!

Yes Shevill, Damien is an amazing planetary imager.
He has been on 'The sky at night' program on uk tv a number of times and does lectures and speeches at astro meets and is in uk astro mags very regularly.
He does do a lot of imaging work from the uk, but does go over to the Canary isles and Barbados regularly (the jammy begger:Chessy_Smile: ).
He is proud to boast having produced an image of jupiter that was regarded as the best ground based image ever and he was one of the first to grab an image of Ganymede showing surface detail:duh: i still find that one amazing:welldone:
He is one talented guy.............
