Ursa Major from Kinchant Dam

Took this photo last night from Kinchant Dam near Mackay. It's not a very good photo but I though some may find it interesting. The Big Dipper as high as it gets in the sky at my location only 10 deg from the horizon.

80km round trip to the Dam.
No fishing rod that trip Jason, there are some big Barra in that dam. :eartoear: Fish stock Barra there is no link to the sea so they don't breed.

Lat 21, Queensland central coast. Up here we do get a good view of most northern objects even the Andromeda galaxy rises to 30 deg elevation it's an awesome sight in big binos.
