Hi All,

Here are links to some more wide sky Canon EOS 5D with lenses, from our astro friend in Japan, Hiro.

I took all these pics with Canon EOS 5D
(partly with Canon EOS 5D-AP by IDAS) and Kenko
skymemo-R. Using this camera mount: http://www.samirkharusi.net/skymemo.html

I took it from public parking of the Mauna Loa Weather Observatory at 3,363m, 11,000ft above sea level. You can watch satellite view of the point at 19degree32'16.80" 155degree34'31.90" in GoogleEarth. You need download GoogleEarth | free at Google.

a daytime view from the place towards the summit. It was difficult for me to climb the road with 4WD.

Eta Carinae nebula and Gum nebula setting behind the observatory. The red bright lights are on the antenna or the aerial and a small white light in the observatory.
