Aweswome Phil. Thanks for sharing. I'm envious of all you guys with domes.

After reading Roger's thoughts on using a dome in the city, I'm already starting to think of what pitch to use on the Misses.

How dark are your skies?

I used to live in Wollongong N.S.W close to BHP steel works the light poll. was shocking but now up in Rocky Queensland is heaps better no steel works with all there lights. Phil

Hi Phil,

Great shot of your dome. Looks real cool with the clouds like that.

Aw Phil, stop it! I haven't got a dome! :(
And only one 'scope that I can't set up yet! :(

Good shot of the clouds! An old fisherman told me a rhyme concerning these types of clouds and the banded clouds often associated with them. Goes like this: 'Mackeral skies and mare's tails, tall ships lower their sails.' It means that when clouds like this are seen a change is on the way, and means high winds.
