Globular Mosaic

This WAS my entry for the month, but due to confusing "an object," with an image with "multiple objects," I withdraw it as an entry for this month's challenge. I will leave it here though as it seems like a good place to park it.

This is a mosaic of globular clusters which contains the folowing objects; M3,(top left) NGC 5466,(top right) M53,(bottom left) and M5,(bottom right.)

Nice globs Tim, they are my favorite type of object. Very nice images of these particular clusters showing the differing densities.

Seriously:smiley-laughing001: After giving it some thought, I DO feel that, if an object is captured, yet DOES happen to contain several objects, should be acceptable. But creating an image with multple objects should not.

At least in this category. It WOULD make a nice POTW though:biggrin:

As it is simply, "a pic."

Interested to hear some other's thoughts on this "rule" from the "powers that be."

That's a great idea time. I've been in the habit lately of printing and framing the meager collection of my own astro images which have turned out remarkably well. Which leads me to the idea that printing mosaics of collections such as globs would make for excellent posters. Ever think of doing so yourself.
