G'day Ray, just a thought, but it would be interesting if you or someone with the right expertise could do something like a google map, to put on the forum, that members could add their locations to, voluntarily of course. I only suggest this because my wife was asking about the forum this morning and I couldn't tell her how many foreign friends we have here or where most of them live, be it here in Aus, in the US or Europe. Cheers mate

PS: I can only get into the moderator control pannel (could possibly get into the Admin pannel:putz: ) but will wait for Radar to reply and sort it for you.

It is a member map indeed Tim, thanks for pointing it out to me, it does help with explaining to the missus, but I was thinking more along the lines of something like a google map locator, although I guess there are privacy issues with that form of map. I have seen it done on a paper modellers forum and it was done on a voluntary basis.
Thanks again mate, I will leave it in the very capable hands of Ray and those others that are responsible for running this great forum.

It's because your using the "sleek black" theme. Try bandwidth light. (sometimes less is more:biggrin:)

Yes, we actually have a member map already on this site but I pulled the link down. It is automated. Once someone joins up, their ISP location is shown (basically their city or town). I'll get it up again.
