Awesome colours for a OSC camera. What is your light pollution like?

Thanks Ray & Trevor.

Light pollution???

My wife & I are very fortunate to live out in the country on the top of a hill far away from city lights. The night sky is about as dark as it gets. I can follow the Milky Way from horizon to horizon. After living in Silicon Valley for 40 years [where even seeing Jupiter was a challenge] this place is an astrophotographers dream.

Very nice Brent, as with Trevors pic, a target I am yet to view. Good luck to you also for POM. Pics like this one of yours only strengthens my resolve to get a QHY8.

nice image but seems just a tad noisy compared to the fine images you have been posting

edit

30 x 5 minutes-maybe its not noise..maybe just stretched a bit more than usual to extract all that nebulosity?

Thanks,

It is stretched allot. I will redo it some day and try some longer exposures and more frames.
