Hi All,

Came across this fellow and his images of Saturn, what I found interesting & very instructive were the variations of image quality introduced by the seeing conditions, each set of images noted the cause & effect differences. Very subtle in some images.

Stunning images. Puts my best to shame. Must be that extra inch of aperture. :)

I had a look around Chris Go's website, he's taken some good planetary images from the Philippines.
This is one of his Jupiter shots.

I've also seen one from an Aussie planetary imager who deserves a mention.
In my opinion he's a world class imager using relatively modest equipment to capture not only detail on Jupiter but on it's moons too.
The Aussie flag flies proudly amongst the world's best.

fantastic image, how do you get detail like that on the moons? I thought they would be captured like bright dots?

You know there is a guy from Brisbane, Dennis Simmons, who takes pictures like that of Chris Go's . He has a shot taken recently with 5 or 6 moons in shot and detail of rings and saturn, must find his images...
