The home brew 8" dob and the SW880 10" mounted on the EQ6ProGoTo V3. Home made tube rings and twin battery pack capable of a total 17 amps to run computer, fans and Mounts etc.

Taken at the ASWA weekend at Dryandra WA Friday 17th March 2007. Over 40 members had a most enjoyable weekend with clear skies most of the time, but with an annoying thunderstorm in the north causing too many light flashes on Friday evening

Nice scopes Dave. Probably would be a good workout hauling two scopes around. The lightening strike is a pearler mate. :thumbsupmate:

You have a nice setup there now that you've accumulated Dave. Did you have success with it at Astro Camp? I didn't get a chance to wander far at camp (not surprise, that's usual for me), had my head down working hard the whole time with photography.

Roger.

I have sent you an email of what I think may have been amiss with aligning the EQ6, got it pretty closed at the end. I was still a bit shell shocked after the car prob and buried myself down with the scope. But some pleasing first time results. Big learning curve with all this new gear. With the old dob was just point and shoot:pipethinker:

I have posted a picture (See images) taken on Monday morning after everyone had gone home using just the camera with a wide angle lens
Cheers all
