Hi all, I'd actually forgotten that I bought Mike Unsold's ImagesPlus software last week and took a second or two for the penny to drop when I pulled a padded envelope out of the letterbox with "US mail" on it....!:duh:
I've been running back and forth all over Adelaide in the burst of early Summer heat we've been having buying a 15 foot caravan and having my car springs and other stuff upgraded.....the plan is for us to do a fair bit of caravanning out bush taking DSO and widefield images together with night landscapes over the next couple of years and enjoy ourselves at the same time.....I decided to get I/Plus as I've heard some rather good reviews about it so I bit the bullet and paid the money last week.
I hope it is worth purchasing and there is a good, very comprehensive set of video tutes included with it in the CD's as well as online stuff too.....a bit funny switching over as just as I get back into a bit of DSO stuff I'm starting to work out a few of the DSS controls a bit better.....so here's hoping I've made a good decision....!:hmm::pipethinker:
The van is a late 80's Viscount Grand Tourer in very good condition with lots of extras..... a medium-sized genny and a couple of extra-heavy duty batteries paralelled up for more 12V grunt when running laptops, mounts and convertors/chargers etc is high on the "must have" list.....just got to sort out the tow-plug wiring before we go and pick it up tomorrow sometime - perhaps a test-run up to Apoinga or Burra Creek the following weekend to sort out a few cobwebs etc - no problem now carrying all the scope stuff!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
