Just caught Iridium 84 run through Leo. Not the best photo but it was an awesome flare visually, Saturn is the bright star like object close by.

Cheers.

Thanks all.

I'd like a DLSR but for now I'm using a Nikon coolpix 4500 digital 4mp.

Nice capture Mick. Leo is clearly visible to. :thumbsupmate:

I take it you used Orbitron to predict this?

Is it possible to get Orbitron to look for Iridium flares, ISS and HST at the same time. I couldn't find a profile where all three of these things were monitored.

Cheers

Yes I used Orbitron for that prediction Ray.

Yes you can select the Iridium's, ISS and the HST at the same time. When you are loading the Tle's press Ctrl and select both the Iridium's and the visual Tle files, both will be highlighted click open and both sets will be available for tracking.

Nice scope set up you have there mate.

Cool, cheers for that Mick. Glad you like my scope setup. I really wanted to convert my backgarden into a useable place for astronomy. Before I had to drag my scope out everytime I wanted to use it, which was very annoying after the 50th time. With the piers, I just have to sit the scope on top and I'm away. Not as good as a dome, but it'll do for now. One Powerball!

HI Mick,

You probably answered this before but where do you get orbitron from?
