I shot this on Sunday night, Kodak 100 through my Meade 8" LX-50. Camera was an Olympus OM1. The film was quite grainy actually.
I used traditional noise reduction techniques to remove the grain, but because of the close colours throughout this image, I was having trouble. I experimented with one of Noel's actions "Space Noise Reduction", and it made a huge difference. I ran the action only once. Those actions really take the work out of processing.
The first pic is with Noel's noise reduction action, the second was without Noel's noise reduction. You can see the grainyness.
I don't have enough pics of the moon, so I'm going to do a few a few more in the coming weeks.
