Interesting given that I am going to that eclipse next week. The date is wrong, that eclipse has not even occurred yet. It must have been last years eclipse in China.
Peter, if you do anything in this short time, you just have to see a total. The camera cannot relay what you really see. The sky goes a lovely magenta blue colour, there is a sunset all the way around and the corona is a soft grey colour with hints of pink from the prominences. It is the most fascinating thing you will see in the sky ever!

With their lust for foreign currency, and absolute distrust of overseas visitors seeing anything "as it happens" your tour group "minders" will possibly heard you all into a giant auditorium (pay-as-you-enter of course!) where you'll be allowed to image a planetarium-style solar eclipse - for a small fee too naturally!!!
And of course any images will be thoroughly vetted first before you're allowed to keep them.....but don't try complaining bro - you might then find your bus to the airport taking an unexpected detour across the North Korean border....!:eek::eek::eek:
Seriously though, they are a real sight/experience to behold and i have been fortunate enough to have witnessed several (both here in Oz and overseas) as well as a couple of annular ones and numerous partials over the years:welldone: (more a testament to my age than anything else!!!:Oh_No:)
