Hi web cam users,
Check out this link, some very interesting stuff. http://sweiller.free.fr/
I am going to investigate this in more detail!

Nice link Shev. There is an amazing animation on that page of a solar flare leaving the sun. If that was done with a webcam, I'm very impressed.
Who here has a H-Alpha telescope?

His Radar,
Actually, webcams are ideal for this sort of imaging. I have several different models, but again not as many clear skies when there is some good action to record.
I have been using a Lumicon H-alpha 1.5 Angstrom system since 1988, subsequently a Coronado SolarMax 40mm BF system on my WO Megrez 800 SD, which I can also double stack on my PST.
My best gear for prominences is the Baader Planetarium Mark IV Coronograph, which I got about 3 years ago, it came with both the narrow & wide pass H-alpha filters etc. The occulting cones make a huge difference in being able to see & record very fine prominences.
Pity we are at solar minimum with so little activity!
