Funny thing about being halfway around the world from you Aussies... I saw the last half of the eclipse a day earlier than you saw the first half. :duh:

Clouds wrecked my visibility early on; I may try to do some kind of animation as I took a BUNCH of hazy images. This one shot, of about 2/3 of the moon out of the eclipse, came out the best of my set I think.

nice shot but it is cruel when things go wrong on a one off event like that

Hi Noel,

Very nice image, up to your usual high standard I see. The global cloud problem is a real curse and seems to be getting worse! Radio astronomy is starting to look attractive!!

Yes the cloud issue is getting real crazy. I wouldn't mind if it would only clear up on weekends and special astro events :Chessy_Smile: .
