remote operating qeustion

Hello,

i got myself an PC with Windows server 2003 and 2008.
but i would like to know are there people that have been tryeng to remote operate ( at least an DSLR ), thats what i want to archieve.

tips are also welcome, i operate my canon eos 350D with dslr focus, and my canon eos 1D series with dslr remote pro.

Do you mean remote operate the dslr from a networked computer, or do you mean remote operate the camera from the first computer inline?

well
i already tried connecting the DSLR to my laptop , then called in the laptop with remote dekstop and i made picture from my own pc.

but i got an server PC with windows server, but i would like to know then, are there people that are using that. ( with remote desktop, if its possible ) if it works fine.
