Well done Sir, I'd be keen to see the specs once you get the chance to post them.

Some beautiful work here! Given your subject I was expecting star trails, not pin-sharp stars!

Woops, thanks mate, forget to post the star trails one.

I think this shot was one hour. I like doing star trails with the celestial equator and celestial poles. Straight lines to circles. :pipethinker:

Lovely!

Thanks for the great idea! I have a Canon 10-22mm zoom, and I know what kind of shot I'm going to do next time I get to a dark site.

Hi Tony,

Yeah, all these images were taken from Golden Grove. Apparently there will be a big crowd up there tomorrow night.

There are also two astro camps on this weekend. ASWA's and AGWA's, Dryanda and Waddi Farm respectively.

Very nice photo Ray, can you do that type of photography with a digital SLR with out stacking?
Our little club had it's viewing night last night, there were some very nice cloud on display. Hope you had better luck...

I'm not sure about the DSLR thing Mick. I haven't done any astro work this weekend yet, but I'm hoping to shoot of tonight and do some.
