Howdy ya'll,

Here's one I was working on, but didn't turn out quite as BIG as I wanted due to missing a key piece of the puzzle, (the middle one.)

A little too big to post...

And here's a couple of the pic's that didn't make it into the crop of the above pic. Note the dark shadow of ??? Something. I thought satellite, but these pic's taken from the avi's are 5 pic's and atleast 10 to 15 minutes apart in capture. The first being from avi #34, the second from avi#39. I imaged 4 other sections of the moon between these images. The shadows are NOT on any of the other pic's. so it isn't something on any part of the imaging train.

Great job Tim. I have no idea what that black spot is though. Be interesting to see if it's still there. I'll take a look later if I get some clear skies.

Thanks Ray, 'n' lil' Legs....I for got to post the vital statistic's.

These were taken with the DMK21au04as imaging source cam, through the 9.25" Celestron SCT @ prime. The panorama/mosaic, was a crop out of 16 different 'stitched' 640x480 captures. I think maybe I'll call it, 'A piece of eight'. lol.

No guiding, just a rough polar alignment and set the had control to Lunar tracking.

Cheers:smile:
