I always keep a close eye on this kind of stuff. Every couple of years rocket propulsion technology is getting a little faster and a little faster. Be interesting to see where we are in another 50 years.

But yes, it is all interesting stuff!

On Star Trek Voyager tonight it was the episode where they found Amelia Earhart and some other Earthlings on a planet. When Tom Paris told them that they can now travel at Warp 9.9 the guy said 'how fast is that?'. Tom answered "in your understanding, that is 4 billion miles a second".

I don't think we'll EVER get that fast, but I reckon it will be mind boggling what is around the corner in Space Travel.
