Does anyone know if there is software out there that looks like Stellarium but can send control signals to a goto mount?
What I am looking for is to be able to see a planet/nebula/etc on screen highlight it and then send commands to the mount to locate the bject.

Also try SkyMap Pro and The Sky.

Though Cartes Du Ciel is a freebee.

Yep, I was going to say Cartes du Ciel too.

It's Free, it's good, and it is small so it doesn't slow your computer.

I download Cartes du Ciel last night but I cant get it to recognise my coordinates. It keeps telling me I am below the horizon but if I select Brisbane all is OK.
Hmmm RDO today I'll have to have a play methinks.

I managed to get Cartes to recognise my location but I really dont like the program I tried to use it awhile ago and my opinion asnt changed. I have seen the adverts for Starry Nights and was wondering if anyone here uses it and what do you think? Does it control the mount ok? Is it worth it for $149 US?
