Hi Phoenix,

Great shot, far better than my first Moon image on film taken a long, long time ago. This looks to be an afocal shot, judging by the camera used?, if so, it has introduced a blue haze, that is out of focus blue wavelength, either the eyepiece or camera lens. If it were a prime focus shot with a reflector, that blue haze would not be present. A Minus Violet filter would also remove it.

Correct me if I am wrong about the camera, please.

You have started on an exciting journey, enjoy.

Clear skies...

Yes you are right it is an afocal shot
how would i be able to tell if it was the eyepiece or camera lens causing the blue haze ? :pipethinker:
