hi guys long time no post, bloody work. anyhoo l'm getting myself a pair of 45 degree BT 100MM binos so l decieded l needed a good mount and so a set of Meade LX50 fork arms modified with a set of internal hubs to take a new mounting plate which will also double as a camera mount for wide field shots. will post some finished pics soon.

Good idea Mick. I've just pulled my LX-50 from it's fork mounts for a dovetail, so I've got these fork arms just sitting there. I've been wondering what to do with them, this has given me some ideas. Was it fiddly to put together?

l've made the mounting bracket for my smaller 15x70's and will mount the big BT100's when they arrive.
