Stacked in Registax 4, merged in PS3. Nothing else. With the DMK, through the '9', with a 2.5x powermate. My first attempt at doing a mosaic.

No crater's were harmed in this confabulation...

Hi Timthelder, Great image, every time i look through the scope at the moon i get lost in all its scenery ,you can walk for days around those craters. well done mate.

Thanks Pete n' Mick,

I was pleased at my first try. I DID use wavelets in R4, I guess this would be considered processing since it happens post stacking. The images at actual size aren't as sharp as I would have liked, but considering the fog I was shooting through I was surprised. One of those classic fog banks rolled in so thick me and everything else was soaking wet within minutes.

I've got to have another go at this. Maybe hop in more of a square shape instead of random.

It does get very addictive this mosaic lark. I'm still after doing a Full Moon mosaic but something always stops play! Will get it though, won't give up!:wink:
