Hi all,

At long last i actually caught Jupiter. Only got 3 avi's as it was 2.30am and i had to be up at 6 :frown: . Jupiter only just popped up above the hedges but i just had to give it a go. No where near as good as the ones posted here but i'm pleased for my 1st attempt. At least i got some banding

Used my celestron 4se, 3x barlow, toucam pro...10fps, 2500/3000 frames used. Very quickly run through Gimp 2.4, stacked in Registax 4

The date is wrong, 9th, last night not 8th!

Great job legs, :thumbsupmate:

I like how the color tone in your image looks more like what I see in the eyepiece. Jupe's rising a little earlier at my locale, about 11pm. I would like to get a shot as it's approaching the median, with some good seeing, through the 5x.

Cheers.

Good effort Karah considering the elevation. The bands are colour are well caught. The elevation would have been working against you.
