Here is a question for Shevill and any other telescope builders out there.
Has anyone used these? What do you think of them?

Hi Orion,
I have no experience with these units, are they made by Ron Newman of Moonlite Focuser in the USA? They look very much like theirs.
If so, they will be a top product, I have four of their motorised Crayford focuser units.

Yes they are Shevill, this is there link.....http://www.focuser.com/cgi-bin/dman.cgi?page=category&plugin=dstore.cgi&category=4
I am interested in them because they would save a lot of time. Being a ball and socket joint I wouldn't have to work out the angle of the truss blocks or the drilling of them either.

I have no idea what they are, but they sure look like binoviewers?

Hi Orion,
I checked their website after I posted my last message to confirm that they are Moonlite made. Go for it, if you buy a set, mention to Ron Newman that you know Shevill and how highly he regards your products. It is always good for manufacturers to get positive feedback.
I also bought my anodising dyes from him and his books on home anodising, still have to find time to set it all up yet and learn how to do it.
Please let me know how you get on.

Definitely not bino viewers, Radar!
