Hi Mick,

Nice shot, always good to be around with a camera when these opportunities arise. Here is one of many Moon & Sun halo's I have taken over the years through the cooler months. This shot has Jupiter just outside the ring to the left.

Also a shot of the Nikon Coolpix 995 camera, which I have had for many years and still use it a lot with is various add-on lenses. This is the fisheye lens I used for the Moon Halo.

Thanks all. I used a Nikon coolpix 4500 the same camera (newer model) that Shevill used for his Moon ring image, nice image by the way. That fisheye lens looks the goods for that type of shot, I wondered how you captured the whole ring. :welldone:
