A few breaks in the clouds at sunset allowed me to capture a few images over Hobart of the comet playing hide & seek. Morale support, as always, provided by fellow astronomer, Laurie Priest.

Also an image taken further to the right of Venus setting over Mt Wellington. Notice the total lack of cloud!!

D200 with a Nikkor 80 to 200 ED f/2.8 zoom lens & 18 to 55 for the wide shot.

Nice work mate. The tail is getting bigger as it moves away from the sun.

Nice colourful shots. Sure looks bright against the relatively bright background.

Nice shots AT. There has certainly been a variety of compositions of the comet, all of them unique in their own way and conditions under which they were taken I wonder how many people will take up astronomy after this wonderful event, the public interest has been quite incredible.
