Hi' just woundering how is the weather where you are.Where i am cloud and rain for over a month now once i have been outside with the scope since christmas and the boss {wife} is dong my head in grrrrr.Mark

Weather is good during the day (except today its overcast) go outside about 4:30ish says to wife 'I think I might set the scope up tonight' about an hour later start seeing flashes to the east and a bit of a rumble. Guaranteed by 6ish it starts to blow a gale and rain. We had nearly an inch of rain in 20 minutes or so a couple of days ago last night it rained steadily for about 4 hours or so.

Been hot as hell here for the last couple of months. Lots of clear skies I'm happy to say. Right now though, on the horizon there is the most amazing electrical storm. Constant lightning flashes every second. Looks amazing. Wish I had a video camera set up for it.

Severe weather warning for Roma and District current. Lots of thunder and looking like hail clouds (green tint to the clouds) reports throught work email that 48mm rain fell 200k west of here and its heading this way.

I drove to the beach tonight. It's very hot at the moment. About 30 clicks out to sea was the most amazing electrical storm, but it just wasn't moving inland, it was moving South. I was hoping to get some lightening shots but it wasn't to be.

Here is the lightening that was about 30km's out to sea last night. I was really hoping it would roll in, but as usual the weather doesn't do what we want it to lately.
