We drove 200km's East of Perth yesterday to a place called Kokerbin Rock. Third largest monolith in Australia.
The view we had of the comet was the best we have had since seeing it last week. The tail stretched up into the sky, taperd off to the right and back down to the horizon. I would say 40 degrees would be no exageration. The dark sky of where we were, the fact that the comet was moving into darker skies and no moon were all factors in creating near perfect conditions for us.
I snapped off some shots, mostly film, so I'll get that developed tomorrow and see what comes of it.
