First Mars with DMK, Jan 4

Last night I was happy to find clear skies and Mars high enough to get a few good quality images. I used my new DMK with a 2x Barlow and my Celestron 8" SCT. I am amazed how much detail the camera captures and shows on the laptop screen.

I am very pleased to see that much detail with my first attempt.

P.S. I don't have a filter wheel or filters so no colour images yet only B/W for now. :biggrin:

Best image of Mars I've seen through an 8 inch telescope mate. Take my hat off to you. (First light as well).
