New Camera Has Arrived

I just recieved my new DMK 21AU04.AS today. I have to say that the camera is very well made, not one bit of plastic on it. I haven't been able to have first light with the camera yet because the clouds have completely covered the sky. What a coincidence. :confused: So far I am very very pleased with the DMK.

I set the scope and pointed it at a terrestrial object but the camera did not pick anything up, just grey. :frown: I have to check what is wrong.

I can't wait for first light with the camera.

I feel your pain - I purchased the same camera and it was delivered over two weeks ago and since then we have had only clouds here in Brisbane - day and night!

It looks like a solid unit and the images over the web look great. What scope(s) are you going to image through?
What are going to be your first targets?

I finally had first light with the camera last night. The clouds cleared up for my to image Mars and Saturn. I'll post them soon.

The camera has exceeded all of my expectations and has produced some good quality images. I am very happy I decided to purchase the DMK.

Matt, I am using my Celestron 8SE SCT for imaging.
