Hello a Celestron C5 schmidt cassegrain scope is up for sale  a great portable scope comes with extremely rigid Parallax rings {Losmandy plate in pic is not included nor finder scope}, a nicely finished aluminium Astrozap dew shield, collimation screws and a 2 inch {plus the 1.25} visual back for 2 inch diagonals/focal reducers. The scope has had three owners and is from the 96-97 vintage, good condition and priced at $500 for the complete set up $300 for just the OTA/2inch visual back/vixen dovetail plus shipping

PS: also comes with a short vixen style dovetail that fits onto CG5/GP/GPDX/EQ6 mounts

G'day buddy!!
Happy new year!!

A question ,,, what sort of F.O.V would this have with a Digital SLR hooked up to it for imaging... hmmm.

Thinking....
12in lx90 with it on top for wide field......

Ihave a st80 on top at moment but the blue halos are annoying.

Gday Pat the scope is solidly built I wo0uld be hesitant about putting on a fork mounted scope, the torque on the LX's fork arms would be worry I think. The bloke i brought it off had it on his LX SCT for guiding but it was a EQ. I haven't tried it with a DSLR just with the DSI, mainly use it as a guider but you could use this CCD calculator (http://www.newastro.com/wodaski/pick_a_camera.htm) to work at FOV's etc. With the smaller SCT's the baffle is a smaller diameter so vignetting could more pronounced than the larger ones using a DSLR.
