"Here is another gathering, must be popular for some 'stellar' reason!

Just a quick reminder to you and your members that the Astronomical Society of NSW (ASNSW) will be holding the 15th South Pacific Star Party (SPSP) on 13-15 April 2007 at its dark-sky site at Ilford, NSW. The Star Party is one of the highlights of the ASNSW calendar and a great opportunity to relax in the company of other amateurs from around Australia and overseas.

Here's hoping for clear, smoke free skies.

We are not holding any star parties down in sunny Tasmania, but we are sure putting on a stunning daytime Comet show.

Clear skies..."

If it makes you feel any better, by late afternoon, after a stunning day with cloudless blue skies, the sea clouds rolled in so we had & still have 100% cloud cover. No pics of the comet in a dark sky!

Roll on Clear skies...
