Ray, when you are on the beach gazing out to sea which large mass of land comes to mind. I ask because there are no members shown in Southern Africa . Perhaps you inadvertently relocated them . It is hard to believe that no one from there has signed up.
So, if you are visiting this site from Africa, set aside Rugger and Cricket differences and say hello.

Hi Gyro,
Where are you in north Yorkshire? I am ex Headingly, Leeds (Leeds Med School) left in '68.
Planning a trip back next year (1st in 40 years) and staying in Bridlington.

Hi Shevill, I may be having a 'senior moment' but are you ex LAS. I seem to remember an earlier thread in this vein which sort of fizzled out.

Hi Gyro,
I am also having senior moments, yes, I was a LAS member for a while, as was our Prof Fred Watson.
Since we last spoke I have had a few health issues/ hospital visits etc and being keeping a low profile.
I actually don't have that much spare time for forum activities and tend to lose track of threads.
Clear skies...
