Seeing was a tad better this morning compared to previous weeks and managed to get a little bit more detail on Mars :smile: Sure is a tough target but hopefully there will be a few more nights coming up where the seeing gives some hope of a good capture :woot:

Wow! You've captured some great detail Stu. Can even see the rotation between the two images. Did you take any other shots that night, could make up a neat little animation of mars rotating?

Cheers fellas.....Ray I shoot about 12 AVIs over an hour, with Mars like Jupiter your limited to how long you can run a AVI sequence due to the planets rapid rotation. I forget the the recommended time limit but go for about 120-150s. Animated sequenes look fantastic but I would only try one if all the AVIs and subsequent images looked good and even.
